One Day out of 365:

Good morning Vietnam!! Ooops, I mean Cobourg and surrounding areas! I had to borrow that memorable line from Robin Williams because frankly I don't have anything exciting to report today. I went to Bodilogix first thing this morning, said good morning to the Sarge ( I think she nodded back, or she had a twitch) and then I went straight to the treadmill. I hobbled my way for a total of 62 minutes...definitely the longest stretch so far. The knee is really becoming a pain in the butt (I've got that as well) but the journey must continue. The Sarge has ordered a brace for my knee so hopefully that will remedy the situation...if not, amputation might be the answer. Say good bye to the knee and probably 60 pounds! Heck that means I would only have 25 pounds more to go....uummmmmmmh. I'll have to ponder that one.

So far I've been able to stick to my new life style...Lord knows I'm not supposed to say the "D" word. I've been eating chicken, fruit, vegetables, yogurt, almonds, various salads and the awesome Wild Berry protein shakes from Bodilogix. I have to say it hasn't been that difficult and I think the exercising has a lot to do with that...I just don't feel as hungry as I used to.

I hope nobody is critiquing my grammar because I'm really not trying to write a literary classic...mind you the Sarge and I could give War and Peace a run for it's money! I remember growing up and listening to that singing cartoon commercial..."conjunction, conjunction what's your function"...unfortunately that's when I turned the TV off. If you know all the words to that educational moment please share it on the comment section of my blog (other then sandy).

I'm on vacation for the next two weeks, it's actually a staycation. That's the new in word for not going anywhere. That's all okay because I'll be able to keep to my normal routine with going to the gym every morning. I really didn't want to interrupt the flow of things. I think it's important to get this new behaviour drilled into my head; its way too early to break away from that even for a little bit.
