Happy Canada Day folks!

Just got back in from participating in the Canada Day Parade and I have to say it was a lot of fun. Instead of leading the parade, as per normal practice, in a nice air conditioned police cruiser I was volintold by the Sarge that I was to walk with the Bodilogix crew! I think Bodilogix put on the best display and seemed to have a lot of positive response from the crowd...especially about the two young Adonis' at the front! It was kind of funny, the crowd sees Devon and the other young lad walking down the street, buffed and half naked, and the crowd is going wild! Now the crowd is thinking there is more to come, more half naked guys, then they see me, the A&W Root Bear with a large banner behind me and being heckled by John Russell the whole way! It was a Kodak moment. It was a little humiliating but it served it's purpose...the team was able to get great exposure for the project and that's what we wanted. At least the Sarge provided me with a bottle of water at the beginning of the parade...she had a soft moment.

The other good thing about being involved in the parade was that I got to meet other members of the gym and the Sarge's family...great people! I was so surprised when I met the Sarge's husband, also named Dave, he was so nice and normal! I guess there is some truth that opposites attract.

Enough about the parade, I would like to mention another service that Bodilogix provides...a healthy cooking class every Tuesday night. The Executive Chef from Dalewood, Chris, comes into the gym and prepares a three course meal right before your eyes! It's very relaxed, educational, fun, and a great night out! I have to tell you, Chris is an amazing Chef and you can tell he loves what he does...heck he doesn't even swear at you like Gordon Ramsey!

Well it's about time to sign off...we have a big day tomorrow with the media launch and I hope to see everyone there!

I'll leave you with a quote about happiness (the Sarge is all about happy); "Happiness is having a large, loving, caring close knit family...in another city"! The wisdom of George Burns.

Stay safe!
Dave

  3. Well Dave as always, I am a true supporter thank heaven's I am not athletic...haha.
Anyway, I am busting with pride that you continue to put your unselfish efforts to good use. I am not in the least bit surprised that your goal is for the community while getting something in return for a change. You are an icon, and someone I look up to with great admiration. For the suckers who think they can bring you down....they obviously don't know you! Bring it on.....they can continue to snap pictures and snap negativity...it only gives us more ammunition. Put your money where you mouth is dude, keep feeding him adrenaline to continue to succeed dispite your rude negative comments.
Again Dave I am 100% behind you, I am proud you are my brother in law, and I'll see you at the top! Love Sandy
