My cousin Bruce advised me of the following, which i think is very important information. He sent an e-mail stating that a new wine has been made for Seniors. Apparently California vintners in the Napa Valley area, primarily produce Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio wines. They have developed a new grape that acts as an anti-diuretic. It is expected to reduce the number of trips to the bathroom during the night. The new wine will be marketed as ....Pino More! He got this information through the, wait for it...the grapevine!
The next hike, 25 km's, is now scheduled for Friday, February 12. If anyone feels the desire that they really have the inkling that they need to walk 25 k's then come on out! We start from Bodilogix at 7:30 AM. I expect it will take us about five hours.
News Bulletin! It appears that I am now the Bodilogix Director of Delight, the Pharaoh of Phun, the Executor of Excitement. Apparently I volunteered, I don't remember it that way, but why live in the past. The first thing on the schedule is a Skating Party on Sunday March 07th, from 11:30 AM till 1:00 PM. I have booked Pad II in Cobourg for the fun filled event. After the skating is done then hot chocolate and a healthy snack will be served at Bodilogix. All Bodilogix members and their families are welcome to come out enjoy a healthy winter activity...free! A sign up sheet will be placed in the gym so we can get a handle on the numbers.
Tuesday nights bootcamp was very entertaining, basically it was a free style event. The Sarge put a lot of thought into the order, that was obvious. We had 16 stations to do, the point of this style of training is to do them in order and each station is assigned a number. Well, the Sarge was in her own little world, we had two stations numbered 13, two numbered 14 and we went from station 4 to station 6...no number 5! It was pandemonium; part of the work out was just finding the right station to go to! Of course I didn't point this out to anyone...that's not my style.
Thursday is here...I lost 1.5 pounds this week which brings the new total to 82.5 pounds. I have to be honest, I'm a little disappointed, especially after doing the hike last week. Having said that I'm still a little closer to my goal.
That's all for now.
Big Dave out.
