AND...Thursday is here. I got on the scales of justice this morning and I lost a further three pounds. The new total now stands at 81 pounds lost! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel or should I say table! I was really hoping for a fiver this week, I put in all kinds of time in the cardio department, but oh well, I'll take the three and start working towards a fiver next week!

I had the honour of presenting the No Cop Out Challenge: Hike for Health event to County Council last Tuesday. I was joined at the speakers table by the Sarge. Behind us in support were John Russell and Rhonda Cunningham from the Northumberland Hills Hospital. I believed the presentation went well, basically asking for County Council support on the use of Northumberland Forest for the event. We heard later in the day that we got approval for the use of the Forest! Another step forward to getting the Hike for Health off the ground.

Rhonda had so much faith in me...she gave me a script to say!! Oh ye of little faith! I like to live on the edge and wing it. Nothing worse then just reading off a piece of paper, boring. Also, it's part of the fun not having something specifically thought out...speak how it feels to you at the moment and usually it works!

Remember...gargling is a good way to see if your throat leaks.
