I weighed myself this morning, which means I broke a cardinal rule of mine. I only weigh-in once a week and that's on Thursday. I shouldn't have, but i was curious to see if some of my Christmas weight had come off...nope! I still have the same five pounds and I don't know why. I had some good work outs over the weekend which included a 8 km walk on Sunday. I ate clean all weekend as well. I spoke to the Sarge this morning about eating habits (I didn't tell her my weight though) and she told me I now have to eat only 400 calories per meal at the most. I also should cut out the pumpernickel...damn! I liked that with chili. By the way here's my chili recipe;
Ground sirloin
can of diced tomato's, sodium reduced.
can of tomato soup
onion
kidney beans...low cal. and low sodium
garlic and other seasoning to taste.
One bowl should only be about 300 calories.

So anyways, it appears I will have to shift my eating habits again and probably shake up my work out routine as well...give the body a kick start.

The sarge and I were guest speakers at the Cobourg Rotary Club last Friday...they even fed us lunch! Unfortunately the Sarge was following behind me while I was loading up at the buffet table. She looked at my plate and said she would give me an A plus if I lost the multi grain bun. I said I was happy only to receive an A and then I received the evil eye! Oh well, you only live once.

It appears that the Sarge and I will try and get our 20 km hike in this Friday...that's if our schedules are clear and the planets are aligned.

Hopefully by Thursday I'll have shed a few pounds.
