Good morning one and all. As you all know I was hoping to reach the 75 pound milestone this week. So...here's the latest news...I lost 1.5 pounds, meaning I fell short by .5 of a pound!! So that means my total weight loss (for the mathematically challenged) is 74.5 pounds. I'll get it next week, I hope!

It's Christmas time! It's already December 10th...my brother's birthday actually. Happy Birthday Jim! So far, I haven't indulged in any Christmas favourites, yet. The Sarge has allowed me 5 days to celebrate during the Season and I haven't used one yet. I'm definitely going to be using some of the days for the 24, 25 and 26th. I think those days are given. Even though I'm not a big New Years guy, I'll probably use one on that day as well. The last day of the 5 days I'll hold in reserve, you just never know when temptation might strike.

Why..."Why did Kamikaze pilots where helmets?"
and

Why do you have to put your two cents in...but it's only a penny for your thoughts? Where is the extra penny? I demand an audit!

The boot camps have been going well and are usually lots of fun...believe it or not! There's usually a lot of supportive bantering going on...at least that's what I like to refer to it as. I actually got injured last night...I was lying on the floor (on purpose) doing some sit up thingy's and then all of a sudden a ball hits me on the elbow. Oh the pain...fortunately my buddy Dave was there to assist me. He was waving a towel over me to keep me calm...he shouted out that it was a medical emergency. While in a great deal of pain, I was able to whisper... a pizza would cure it! The Sarge didn't buy it! We had to continue on with the work out...no pizza in sight.

Speaking of pizza, Dave Cunningham came up with a great idea! The last boot camp before Christmas we should have pizza after. The Sarge was not very supportive of the idea, Scrooge! We won't give up the fight, Dave and I are leading a rebellion of two.

We have another person who likes to skip outside...Doris Biron. I'm not sure what's going on with these two (Dr. Kathy) but they just like skipping out there. I really can't wait till a snow storm hits, that should make it entertaining.

Just did another interview with Northumberland Today and we should be doing an interview with CHEX Television next week. Hopefully some people will remember the No Cop out Challenge at Christmas time and make a much needed donation or pledge!

Finally...the statistics on sanity is that one out of every four persons are suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends--if they're okay, then it's you!

Big Dave out!
