CHRISTMAS EVE!

Wow, Thursday, December 24th! It's hard to believe that the Sarge and I have been working at this project for 6 months! It's been quite the journey so far and we're still not done yet. I've been feeling so much better since I've lost the weight. It's all good. Also, the other benefit of this Challenge is meeting many new friends along the way, lot's of humour and support, which has made this so much easier. Actually, I think I have found the fountain of youth! It's very simple really, abuse your body for thirty years and then get into the gym and shed the pounds. I haven't felt this good in years! Mind you I don't recommend that you follow the same path i did!Not looking after yourself for thirty years, that takes a lot of commitment which not everyone can do. It also takes a professional, no amateurs!

I had another weigh-in this morning. The last one before I have my little splurge of everything rich and decadent! And the weight is.....259. I lost .5, oh well, I was hoping for better but I can no longer try and predict what the outcome each week will be...go with the flow. Where's the eggnog?

Went to boot camp last Tuesday night after having a few drinks with a couple of friends. Of course they had a few beers while I had a coffee and water...ho,ho, friggin ho! Anyways there were good lads and are very supportive...

Speaking of boot camp, CJ brought in a CD to be played during the work out as a dedication to me. Wow, I thought what a nice gesture! This group at Bodilogix has been very supportive. I asked the Sarge to pump up the volume..."Dancing Queen" by ABBA bellowed through out the gym! Oh the laughter...have I mentioned the cost of therapy has now surpassed my training costs?!

"And the Sarge, with her Sarge-feet ice cold in the gym, stood puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And she puzzled 'till her puzzler was sore. The Sarge thought of something she hadn't before. What if Christmas, she thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more". Borrowed from the Suess man.

Remember...red meat is not bad for you. Fuzzy green meat is bad for you.

The latest survey shows that three out of four people make up 75% of the population. Will wonders never cease!

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy and prosperous New Years! A special thanks to the Sarge...without a doubt you saved my life. Thanks kid! Now I can spend more time on this side of the tera ferma harassing people...oops, i mean supporting people!

Big Dave out! Damn, I got chocolate on my keyboard.
