WE ALL LIVE IN A YELLOW SUBMARINE:

Hello folks...sorry for not posting a blog yesterday (Thursday) as I was very busy. Anyways I weighed in and lost another 4 pounds! Another great week; the total is now 48 pounds! I'm almost half way to my goal...incredible! I want to stress I'm not starving myself, I'm eating 5 times a day but just eating properly and also the work outs have really jumped started the weight loss. The Sarge has me on a very balanced plan and it's working.

A couple of days ago I was back on the leg press. I was lifting the 340 pounds and feeling good. I did 25 reps and the Sarge came over and asked how I was doing. I said great and asked her to put some more weight on. She said she wanted to see my form first (LIAR). I said okay and started doing the press again. I figured she would only want to see maybe 5 or 6 examples and then we could bump up the weight...nope! I did another 25 at the full weight and then she did the strip down thing again! By the time it ended the weight felt like it was a 1,000 pounds! Heck I'm now 3" inches shorter! Considering I was already vertically challenged that's not good.

On the same day of my shrinkage I was introduced to the "buso ball"...it sounds like an order of Chinese food. Could i get an order of buso balls and fried rice please? Anyways, I'm now doing my push ups on this damn thing...interesting to say the least!

talking about interesting...I'm now doing the step ups with a 10 pound weight and doing 5 steps at a time. Pretty good for a short guy I think. When I do this manoeuvre everyone in the gym has to give me a wide berth as I have no control over my balance...it's a disaster waiting to happen. My legs and arms go everywhere just trying to keep my balance...I'm like a puppet and the puppeteer is high on cocaine!

Did you know that an average woman speaks 7,000 words per day, where as men speak just over 2000! I think we all knew that one!

Did you know that pain travels faster than 3000 feet per second...the Sarge moves quicker than that!

Cobourg hosts an annual Dragon Boat Race in support of the United Way every September. This year the Bodilogix Gym want to put in a team. I don't know how this happened but I was sent the same invite as other members! Okay...nothing good is going to happen if i get into one of those boats! If I'm in the back then we'll look like a speed boat with the front going vertical across the lake. If I'm in the front then we instantly become a submarine! So...I'll be on the shore....safe and dry!

Glad to see my cousin Nancy is getting into the comedy act with her comments on my blog the other day!

Big Dave signing off!
