STAYING THE COURSE:

Today is the dreaded Thursday. I look at Thursday's as being very unnerving because I just don't know what to expect. I always reflect back on the week to analyze what i did such as work -outs and what i consumed. Even though I know I had a good week that still doesn't matter to that damn, friggin, red eye, digital, unforgiving machine! So, on the scales I go...I lost 5 more pounds! That brings the current total to 63 pounds and counting. I seem to be back on a roll for some strange reason...I really thought the 5's were well behind me especially after having that amazing week last week. I'm not complaining though!

A reminder about the Butterball Run (100 km hike) next year. A change of plans has taken place, we will no longer be walking through the night, it was thought that this was too risky especially with people needing to go back to work on the Monday...work always gets in the way. So the game plan will be to break up the hike on the Saturday and Sunday...it will still be a challenge, believe me. Further information will be coming out in the near future after a planning committee has a chance to meet and look at the logistics for this event. It will be challenging but I promise you it will be a lot of fun as well so keep it in mind for next year!

If you haven't had the chance to make a pledge or a donation yet...please consider doing so. The Northumberland Hill's Hospital is a very important institution and it needs our support, so please, if you can, make a pledge.

thanks.
Big Dave...out!

  1. Dave, after seeing you at the gym yesterday, I'm not surprised that you lost another 5 pounds. You looked great!! Obviously your regime is agreeing with you because you also looked happy and healthy!! (Don't let all these compliments go to your head). I think Andrea really needs to be commended here too. Her knowledge and skill are part of your success - we must remember this. Great work Andrea and Dave!
